Locative Magazine publishes on a bi-annual schedule, with issues in May and November-ish. Our latest issue, Honey//Lemon, launched in October of 2025 and features new writing from twelve Australian authors.
We’re open for submissions for our fifth issue, Smoke//Mirrors, to be launched in May 2026! Submissions will be open between Dec 1 2025 and Jan 31 2026, further details on our Submissions page. There is no submission fee, and all published writing is paid.
