Locative Magazine publishes on a bi-annual schedule, with issues in April and November-ish. Our latest issue, Smoke // Mirrors, launched in April of 2026 and features new writing from nineteen Australian authors.
Submissions will re-open between December 1 2026 and January 31 2027 on a theme to be announced in mid-November, further details on our Submissions page. There is no submission fee, and all published writing is paid.
